Bird watching and native flora tours are available at a private bird sanctuary from a local bird watching association member.

The property contains over 100 different species of eucalypts, over 120 species of wattle and over 80 species of hakeas. With such a variety of native plants on the property, it has become a haven for more than 50 different species of native birds.
